Jag Flag Football: A Glorious Start!

September 6th, 2023:

Last week, marks the date of the first ever flag football game of the year for the Judson Jaguars.

Hours before the game:

Leading up to this eventful game, there was heaps of held up tension within the team concerning its very uncertain outcome. Unfortunately, their star receiver got severely injured during practice and with the game so soon, the chances of winning were slim.

tiny COACH INTERVIEW -

Q.1) What do you expect for this year in terms of football?

COACH EGUIA - "I Can't say right now just because our star receiver got hurt yesterday at practice, so I still see us going far, but it'll hurt in the playoffs when we get there,".

COACH BOLVIN - "Championship, nothing less,".

Q.2) What are your first impressions of the players?

COACH EGUIA - "Usual clowns, that I need to shape in to doing their work in school...".

COACH BOLVIN - "They're a great shot to go a long way,".

Q.3) Overall, are you confident in the team?

COACH EGUIA - "I have confidence in the team... I think we can make playoffs. We're gonna have a hard time against Great Hearts, which is in our division, but we'll see how it goes,".

COACH BOLVIN - "Very confident, got a lot of returners, bunch of young men willing to learn and listen to make themselves better,".

During The Game:

To summarize, the game was very intense. As a photographer from the sidelines, even I felt the rush of it. Everything went by in a blur and, though I had no idea what was going on, Coach Eguia's constructive and supportive shouts were enough to inform me of what was happening. Considering that both the coaches and the audience were confident in the Jaguars towards the end, I already knew the possible outcome...

After The Game - The Outcome:

Surprise Surprise, The Jaguars WON!! Congratulations to the players and the coaches.

- After this win, there were many heartfelt moments between the coaches, players, and of course the star receiver, who, although injured, still came to watch and support the game.
